From celebrities who recognise Ferragamo as a style icon; Lady Ga Ga to Hugh Jackman and from clothes to shoes to handbags and jewellery Salvatore Ferragamo is the fashion master of the fashion world. We had the pleasure recently to be involved in printing an exclusive dinner invitation to celebrate the opening of the Salvatore Ferragamo Boutique in Melbourne, co-hosted by style gurus InStyle Magazine. In what we think is one of most exclusive looking invitations, we collaborated with the team at InStyle including the design & marketing departments to create an invite to truly showcase the colour, style and beauty of the Ferragamo brand. Working with a talented team meant we could collaborate a uniquely-finished-product, in this instance being a photograph of a colourfully wedged Ferragamo shoe.

Utilising our wide-format Roland LEC Machine, numerous testing was required to ensure we got the UV gloss level and thickness just right to create a 3d look on the wedge.

We printed the front of the invitation cmyk with a UV hi-gloss onto Splendorgel 340gsm and mounted to a 3mm black screenboard. The reverse side was simply printed in black to retain the simplicity of the overall piece.
