GASAA (The Graphic Arts Services Association of Australia) is a federally established registered business assocation formed in 1923. It provides services for companies within the graphic arts and design industry. It essentially bridges the gap between the creative and production services. Theo has been an active board member of GASAA’s executive committee for the past 6 years. During this time he has introduced the ‘Printovation’ awards and assisted in raising the organisation’s profile.
Theo says “I am both honoured and humbled to be given this opportunity to represent GASAA as their new president. Our previous president David Leach was instrumental in so many ways including raising the organisation’s profie and having good dialogue with the Printing Industries of Australia (PIA), his are hard shoes to fill. I intend to continue David’s legacy and together with the board will reach out to both printing and creative communities to promote this very relevant and resourceful organisation. I am looking forward to highlighting the benefits that GASAA membership can offer. I am equally excited to be able to share my experience and knowledge over the past twenty years in both offset and digital printing will with others.”
We thank everyone for their support and kind words, in particular Desktop Magazine, i-graphix Magazine and Print21 online.
